Mgr Systems Engineering--GMD Lifecycle Management Systems
The Manager Systems Engineering reports to the GMD Performance Based Logistics Integrated Product Team lead and manages 15 - 20 direct reports and functionally management, and 15 - 20 contractors and subcontractors.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for leading the implementation of the GMD DSC Integrated Weapon Systems Management
• Lifecycle support activities include: Leads team in performing sustaining engineering, system assessment (including reliability, availability and maintainability), and lifecycle supportability planning and design influence. Also, is responsible for stockpile reliability, reliability growth and service life extension planning, test execution and analysis.
• Interfaces with and provides systems engineering based sustainment recommendations and solutions customer.
• The selected candidate must be able to travel up to 25% of the time
Basic Qualifications:*In depth knowledge of weapon system systems engineering, analysis, logistics engineering, sustaining engineering, and
product support.
*System performance, reliability, availability and
maintainability experience
*Senior management experience leading engineering teams
*GMD knowledge
*Engineering or technical degree with 10 years systems or
logistics engineering experience
*Must be able to travel
*DOD Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications: * GMD or ICBM systems and sustaining engineering experience
* Weapon system assessment or stockpile reliability experience
* 15 years systems or logistics engineering experience
* 10 years ICBM or GMD experience
* Masters degree
