Mgr Project Management 3
Mgr Project Management serves as Deputy Project Manager who is responsible for assisting and accomplishing planning, integration of project resources, and managing execution of Project Administrative, Support, and Logistics Operational Performance tasks and services included within the Performance Work Statement for a large complex Logistics Support Services Contract supporting multiple large US Army Brigade sized organizations. The DPM assists the Project Manager and Project Division / Office Managers to plan, organize, schedule and track resources and execution against requirements and timelines with effective quality process indicators and controls. Assists with providing supervision, guidance and direction to the Project's Safety Programs and ISO Quality Assurance and Operations/Trends Analysis Programs and ensures its effective integration in the Project's planning, process execution tracking and continuous improvement programs. Executes all work in compliance with applicable regulations, laws, standards, codes, directives, and required permits. Complies with all reporting requirements. Mentors and enhances the performance of subordinates. This position is considered a key position and reports directly to the Project Manager. In the absence of the Project Manager, he/she may act on behalf of the Project Manager in accordance with Letter of Instructions and Delegation.

This position is contingent upon contract award.
Basic Qualifications: Must have five (5) years experience in general management of deployment (RSOI), operations, and redeployment (Regeneration) logistics support services to include all requirements of the PWS. Fifteen (15) years of progressive responsible management and leadership experience in logistics related fields. Must be experienced and competent in computer and general office equipment usage. Must be experienced and competent in the operation of Army STAMIS systems and commercial automation and information systems and programs.
Preferred Qualifications: Senior Army Logistics experience.
