Job Description
Assist services project teams with supplier qualification including:
•Development of supplier approval plans
•Ownership of supplier qualification / re-evaluation for service supplier
•Effectively manage risk
•Identifies Baxter supplier compliance issues; helps to resolve issues in a timely manner
•Own and resolve supplier related CAPA(s)
•Analyze supplier complaints to determine root cause
•Communicate with suppliers to obtain required information and/or documents
•Development and implementation of procedures affecting several business groups and functions
•Utilize the Global Supplier Quality Trackwise System (GSQTS) for maintaining Supplier Quality Records
•Interpret and execute policies and procedures that affect the organizational unit
•Interacts frequently with functional peer group
Job Requirements
•Thorough knowledge of applicable procedures, specifications, regulations and standards
•Strong analytical and problem solving skills
•Ability to manage/supervise a team of employees
•Good communication and leadership skills
•Good interpersonal/influencing/negotiation skills
•Good project management skills Education and Experience:
•Bachelors Degree in science or engineering. 5+ years experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering or related field which should include 1-2 years of supervisory experience
•Must be able to travel up to 30% Preferred Qualifications:
•Ability to respond to internal and external customers in a timely manner
•Ability to solicit feedback and information from others in an open environment
•Ability to build relationships across functional boundaries at multiple levels internally and externally
