Job Description
Manages within the Fractionation Business Unit to support all operations of the Building 1 and Building 5 Fractionation Complexes. This includes supporting/leading investigations, root cause identification and implementation of corrective/preventive actions.
•Need to drive quality initiatives and manage projects within the business unit. Implements the quality systems procedures and manages compliance.
•Understands and assures conformance to governmental regulations as well as Baxter corporate, divisional and local standards/procedures. Interfaces with regulators during inspections.
•Will be accountable for closing all regulatory and non-regulatory commitments as assigned.
•May participate in or manage quality assessments of internal operations and suppliers to analyze compliance and assess risk.
•Identifies and manages continuous improvement projects with the objective of achieving quality, reliability and cost improvements.
•Manages coaching, training and development of subordinates.
Job Requirements
•Thorough knowledge of applicable procedures, specifications, regulations and standards.
•Ability to manage/supervise a large team of employees
•Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
•Strong communication and leadership skills.
•Strong interpersonal/communication/influencing/negotiation skills
•Strong project management skills.
•Knowledge of automated production control systems (DeltaV) or plasma fractionation is a plus.
•3 years in Quality, Manufacturing,
