BS Engineering or demonstrated performance in equivalent position of responsibility 5 - 10 years progressive responsibility in bulk handling systems - engineering and field Principles and methods of: materials handling, equipment specification, conveyor design, layout, detailing, and drive calculations; applicable codes and regulations; basic understanding of related mechanical, electrical, and structural systems Effective oral and written communications; concise report development; current office computer knowledge, basic CAD skills, Professional Engineering license preferred
Responsibilities:
Responsible for all technical aspects of assigned projects including: Mechanical, structural, design, system layout and functionality, code and spec compliance, constructability, quality control, equipment selection and specification, engineering document control, customer training and maintenance manuals, shop and field advice. Assist sales team during sales effort when assigned.
