Mechanical Engineer - Generator Engineering

Conduct the mechanical design and development of high power motors and generators for Aerospace applications under the supervision of a team leader/more experienced engineers. The work includes requirements definition, design, analysis, manufacturing support, and testing.

An understanding of different electric machine topologies and their related mechanical construction characteristics is a benefit in this position. Mechanical design and analysis capability using state of the art analytical tools a plus. Candidate should have an interest in both analytical, as well as hardware activities, with hands-on skills. The position requires a person with initiative, resourcefulness and teamwork traits, who must have good written and oral communication and the willingness to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
