Engine & Control Systems (E&CS) provides complete jet engine controls and accessory packages. From the fuel tank to the igniters, we have the resources and expertise to design, qualify, and manufacture first in class central systems for our aerospace engine customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform duties essential to the creation of a layout, dimensional, balloon sheet and parts list within a 3D solid modeling tool.

- Minimum of 10 years experience in a high performance aerospace mechanical design/drafting capacity
- Requires knowledge of the packaging of gears, shafts, bearings, impellers, clutches, and seals within customer envelopes
- Experience in the mechanical design, development of rotating machinery such as gearboxes, pumps, or air turbine starters is preferred
- Mechanical design through use of Unigraphics and Teamcenter.
- Primary toolset of choice is Unigraphics (NX4 or 7.5), but knowledge of other systems is also beneficial
- Must have knowledge and experience with industry standards
- Must have some knowledge of manufacturing and machining processes along with strong skills in GD&T and tolerance analysis
- Candidate must have solid understanding of mechanical principles
- Knowledge of hydraulic-type engineering drawings depicting details, assemblies, schematic diagrams
- A team player with a high level of initiative
- Able to work in an environment of rapidly changing priorities
