Astronics Corp. / Luminescent Systems, Inc., a leader in electroluminescent and LED technology and lighting applications, has opportunities for team-oriented individuals to join our organization located in Lebanon , New Hampshire . Our Engineering Team designs and maintains products for commercial and military aircraft applications using a variety of lighting technologies. We are considering the addition of a Design Technician to provide clear, complete, accurate drawings, documentation and support to products in manufacturing. This position requires the extensive use of CAD, completion of Engineering Change Notices and interfacing with Manufacturing Requirement Planning System for the Bill of Materials and Routings. Reading comprehension and writing proficiency is a must. Using verbal or written instructions and established procedures, the Design Technician will analyze specific problem areas and will propose making adjustments or changes as necessary, referring major problems to supervision. In addition, the Design Technician is a liaison with Senior Designers, Project Engineers, Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Quality, Machine Shop, Suppliers and Purchasing as necessary. Performance of other work duties as required and directed.
