Material Area Supervisor
The Material Area Supervisor is responsible for supervising and directing a workforce in an automotive setting, facilitating smooth material flow from suppliers to line feed stations, ensuring inventory and record integrity, champion safety and housekeeping initiatives, optimizing/implementing lean manufacturing principles.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree • Must possess the ability to maintain a positive working relationship with both management and union represented employees • Good written and oral communication • Excellent problem solving skills • Must be able to work either day or afternoon shift • Competency in Microsoft Office tools
Preferred Qualifications:
• Field of study preferred: Material Control/Supply Chain, Logistics, Packaging, Business, or advanced degree
