Seeking a full-time Manufacturing/Process Engineer who will be responsible for utilizing engineering methodology and other technical expertise to evaluate, design and implement projects to ensure capabilities and efficiencies of both new and existing production processes. 


 


Responsibilities Include:



  • Work with manufacturing and Engineering departments to organize and lead plant efforts in transitioning new products and new production equipment into production, troubleshooting manufacturing and process problems.
  • Identify solutions and implement new and improved methods of manufacturing to improve efficiencies. 
  • Perform time studies for various manufacturing processes to establish standards and benchmark for improvements.
  • Create/revise internal detailed manufacturing drawings.
  • Ensure processes are at the optimum level for production, quality and regulatory compliance in order to meet demand needs.
  • Study and document process capabilities of new and existing equipment, make recommendations for improving capabilities, quality and efficiency.
  • Provide technical leadership for safety and quality projects, engineering change orders and other manufacturing improvements.
  • Maintain positive employee relationships.
  • Plan, organize and lead manufacturing engineering activities related to process improvement and development for both current and new products. 



Requirements:


BS Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering. Environmental, health and safety focus/orientation. 3 years of demonstrated leadership, organizational, communication and problem solving skills.
