Client's Engineering Services span the entire product lifecycle including: Design, Analysis, Product/Project Management, Test, Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing, and Aftermarket and in numerous markets including Aerospace, Industrial, Power Generation, Civil, Medical, and Transportation. We also provide in-house manufacturing from our modern and expanding off-shore facility located in India. Client collaborates with Fortune 500 companies such as GE, United Technologies, Rolls Royce, Airbus, TATA, and Toshiba to provide them with engineering services and solutions. Position Description: Client is seeking conscientious, responsible, and energetic individuals to join our growing Connecticut engineering organization immediately. This position performs typical Manufacturing Process / Methods Engineer operations oriented activities that include interacting with our customers staff, operational tools, and systems. Initial responsibilities for this position include: Manage Control Plans within MRO Operating System (Solumina) including: o Create/Revise in-process / final inspection measurement records o Create/Revise Operational Sheets o Update CAD based images (AutoCAD) o Write/Revise Workplace Instructions Program level entry/update of above (Solumina) Additional manufacturing/engineering roles will follow the successful completion of this initial work.

Requirements:
Required Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience including working with manufacturing procedural database systems in a regulated environment.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a technical degree (AS/BS) Non-degreed candidates possessing 5 years of directly relatable experience are equally qualified. The following additional criteria will help identify and assess top candidates: Extent of experience working with Operations/Process documents, procedures, and records Programmer experience regarding mfg operation database tools - preferably SOLUMINA Ability to read-interpret CAD based tooling, component, assembly drawings Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, and Statistical Process Control Use of CAD software - preferably AutoCAD; NX (UG) Familiarity with high-end manufacturing equipment and processes (ie. castings, metal cutting, turning, coatings, milling, EDM, welding, sheet metal/composite forming and joining, metal tube bending, castings, metal cutting, turning, coatings, milling, EDM, welding) Knowledge of manufacturing support processes and systems (ie. inspection, gauging, data collection, records & reporting, first article approvals) Level of customer/supplier interaction Proficiency with MS-Office suite tools Evidence of effective communication All candidates must pass a background check and are subject to our customers HR/Legal reviews.
