SGI enables enterprises to meet their computing and storage requirements at a lower total cost of ownership and provides them greater flexibility and has a worldclass manufacturing operations center located in Chippewa Falls, WI. We have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join this high impact organization. In this role, you would identify, create, and support BOM and and processes for Rack
build and integration of internet products. You will interface with Sales,
Engineering, Operations to identify correct parts and part
counts to allow MFG operations to source required materials
and build unique configurations. In addition, you will
develop build procedures for unique BOMs and support
assembly personnel as required.
Job Requirements: The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years experience in
manufacturing process development, excellent written and
verbal communication skills relating to design engineers,
sales personnel, and manufacturing workers, the ability to
create documentation packages in MSWord format, strong
mechanical engineering skills tied to sheet metal parts,
racks, cabling, and mechanical assembly, knowledge of CAD
tools such as ProE and/or Solidworks is a plus, and the
ability to multitask with an constantly changing product
configuration, ability to resolve problems quickly and
accurately.
