Manufacturing Process Engineer
9.2 Billion Dollar International Nutritional Supplements company is looking to identify and hire a long term contract (18-24 months) Manufacturing Process Engineer with the potential for full time employment. The qualified professional will join the R&D / Manufacturing Team to assist in the development and improvement of manufacturing processes.
This is a Monday – Thursday work week (4/10’s).
The Manufacturing Process Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to:
Leading process improvements throughout the entire R&D and Manufacturing facility.
Identifying Process Capability & Process Constraints through data and research.
Preventative quality process improvements and active process improvement of overall material flow throughout the plant.
Lead integration of new products into Manufacturing, focused on right first time and vertical ramp-up of packaging operations.
Optimize manufacturing processes to provide sustainable gains in quality, throughput and safety.
Monitor process and equipment performance.
Identify and implements process improvement activities to increase & optimize yield and efficiencies.
Lead ITM and cross functional projects.
Drive validation efforts and continued change control processes.
Capture supplier quality issues and lead resolution efforts with Supplier Quality Development team.
Drive improved SOP documentation, training and revisions for facility.

Requirements:
The qualified professional will possess the following academic & industry experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
Supply Chain certifications or Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
5-8 years of leading manufacturing process engineering initiatives within a Pharmaceutical, Nutraceutical and / or Food industries..
Problem solving & root cause analysis techniques.
Design for manufacturing for new product introductions.
Experience designing and performing process validations.
Ability to work well in dynamic, cross functional environment.
Analyzes complex situations, extracts, summarizes and communicates key information for sound decision making.
Superior communication and listening skills, with the ability to articulate and influence thoughts and ideas.
