Manufacturing Industrial Engineer
Job Summary:
The Industrial Engineer researches, develops, designs, and qualifies manufacturing areas and area layouts to support the manufacture of current products, support the development of equipment and processes for new products, and support improvements to the overall product delivery system.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from four year college or technical school with two years Factory CAD experience; or four years related experience with four years Factory CAD experience; and/or and equivalent combination of education and experience.
Essential Job Duties:
- Reviews product design, manufacturing operation, and time study information to design and document layouts of current and future manufacturing areas.
- Selects, specifies, and aids in the installation of equipment that is statistically capable, reliable, maintainable, safe, and ergonomically sound.
- Develops equipment utilization forecasts and make any proposals necessary to support planned and unplanned future growth and/or requirement changes.
- Provides input for fiscal planning, capital projects, and cost reductions.
- Supports the development efforts for existing and new products and processes.
- Evaluates and implements new and advanced engineering concepts, new equipment, processes, and technological developments to maintain state-of-the-art awareness.
- Implements and supports manufacturing technologies.
- Reviews processes and layouts to ensure safe operations, tools, methods, and equipment are in use throughout the facility.
Job Skills: Applies the required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA) in the performance of essential job duties:
· Knowledge of and demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Products including: Outlook, Project, Word, Excel, and Power Point
· Knowledge of and demonstrated proficiency with FactoryCAD factory modeling and layout software
· Knowledge of basic heavy equipment manufacturing processes, equipment, and work area requirements
· Knowledge of manpower and equipment utilization calculations and planning
· Skill in planning, managing, and completing projects
