Position Responsibilities: ¨ Assists engineering, maintenance, and operators with trouble-shooting equipment failures. ¨ Assists with solving manufacturing problems. ¨ Provides technical support to assigned cost center. ¨ Assists in maintaining effective communications between maintenance, tech teams, advisors, and operators. ¨ Assists in training new operators. ¨ Assists engineering with implementing new product and engineering changes. ¨ Assist in developing and implementing cost reductions and process improvements. ¨ Monitor and update CNC programs and assists operators with programming problems. ¨ Assists maintenance with establishment of permanent fix for ongoing maintenance downtime on equipment. ¨ Completes necessary reports and paperwork. ¨ Identifies and assists with correction of safety and housekeeping issues. Education: Associates Degree in related field. Knowledge of CNC programming. Knowledge of Hydraulic and Electrical systems. Experience: Computer experience. Mechanical or electrical process experience. Basic knowledge of processes, machining, grinding, broachin and heat treatment.
