Manufacturing Engineer (CNC Turning)
I have a client, a manufacturer of scientific instruments, located close to Foxboro MA, looking for a Manufacturing/Process Engineer.
This is a classical CNC Manufacturing/Process Engineering position. In this position, you will focus on supporting CNC turning, 2 to 8 axis machines, from development of prototype and production tooling to release into full scale production. You will serve as mentor to more junior engineers, and do some CNC programming. The company is changing over to MasterCAM, but that particular CAM program is not required. You will work with R&D in a DMFA environment, in order to assure producibility of the product. Much of the tooling used will be designed by you, so a good CAD design background (SolidWorks best) should also be part of your took kit.

Requirements:
You need to have a four year Engineering degree. The 'MUST HAVE' in this job is experience as a Process or Manufacturing Engineer in a CNC turning shop. Your experience must include programming , and some experience with a solid modeling CAD (eg. Solid Works, PRO-Engineer, UG etc). Some tooling design in your past is also required.
