PROGRAM FINANCE MANAGER
My client, a manufacturer, located in Southeastern Virginia is seeking a Manager, Program Finance. This position will perform high level analytical functions for the Program Finance Department and requires a Certification in Project Management.
Responsibilities:
Leads a team of Project and Financial Analysts in support of multiple programs of varying sizes
Directs the planning and controlling of program financial analysis activities to ensure uniform reporting, analysis and artifact retention for compliance with revenue recognition and risk management policies
Tracks and aggregates key program performance data
Develops and administers planning and EVMS systems, custom and as hoc reporting as required
Monitors contract due dates and liability trigger points
Actively participates in the development of Work Breakdown Structures and Budgets that lead to the establishment of a cost/schedule baseline
Requirements:
BS Accounting or Finance
MBA a Plus!
Project Management Certification
Six Sigma Greenbelt strongly preferred
5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment
3+ years as Supervisor/Team Leader
Ability to work with project managers
Thorough knowledge of project control, project management and project control tools such as summary Dashboards and Program Review Templates, MS Project and Microframe MPM
Strong understanding of ERP Order to Cash system flow
Expert understanding of Earned Value concepts, applications, strengths and weaknesses
Ability to work with minimal supervision
