Job Type :Full Time Career Level :Manager (Manager/Supervisor of Staff) Education :Bachelor's Degree Job Description : The manager in this position will be responsible for all aspects of publishing the operating manual for nuclear propulsion plants in US Navy aircraft carriers, including supervision of employees performing the publishing work. The publishing process includes close interaction with engineers during development of manual technical content, incorporation of approved technical content into source files, configuration control of source files, reproduction and distribution of manual content, and configuration control of historical files. The manager in this position will also be responsible for final development, deployment, and maintenance of the nuclear propulsion plant operating manual in an interactive electronic (paperless) format. Frequent interaction with publishing managers at other sites will be required, but travel will be minimal. Job Requirements : Education Requirements:
A B.S. or B.A. degree in a technical or business discipline is required. A minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale is preferred.
Experience Requirements:
Previous publishing and management experience is required. Other Skills :The successful candidate will need to be detail-oriented and have good communication and project management skills. An Information Technology background is also desirable. Category :Other
