This position is under the direction of the Vice President of Operations and works closely with internal departments and administrative vendor partners to manage and oversee all matters related to new client implementations including but not limited to data transfers, eligibility/enrollment processes, plan design configuration, benefit accumulator management, claims administration, provider set-up and maintenance, provider reimbursement, member and provider servicing, member and provider communication, member transition, service intake, medical management and reporting.
Develop and proactively manage implementation project plan(s) and timeline(s) for new client implementations.
Serve as the primary point of contact for new clients and coordinate implementation activities and tasks between new client, Apria, and administrative vendor partners.
Facilitate and lead implementation workgroup meetings between new client, Apria and/or administrative vendor partners.
Proactively monitor implementation plan and timeline to identify gaps, delays, and risks while proposing timely and effective solutions or mitigation strategies.
Apply Apria Health policies and procedures in a consistent manner during implementation phase.
Post implementation, facilitate and coordinate transition of the client to the client management team.
Responsible for ongoing review, revisions, and enhancements to standard or base client implementation plan and timeline.
Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor.
Five years of in-depth and/or leadership experience in the HMO/healthcare field.
Two years project management/program implementation experience in HMO/healthcare field.
OTHER REQUIRED SKILLS:
Strong and highly developed verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with and present to all levels within an organization.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence.
Strong management skills including prioritization of concurrent implementations and ability to promote team and collaborative environment.
Ability to understand all major functions within health plan and managed care environment
Strong problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to identify and make decisions that serve the best interest of a client and Valescent Health.
Ability to travel up to 25%
