Logistics Manager - DIRECT LABOR
Description
The Senior SPA Logistics Manager will be responsible for the coordination of all logistics issues for the SPA program and assist the APML as required. The following specific requirements apply: (1) Ensure that all logistics documentation is prepared in accordance with NAVAIR directives to inlcude but not limited to the Logistics Funding Requirements Summary (LRFS), Acquisition Logistics Support Plan (ALSP) and all other supporting logistics documentation, (2) Participate in the PPBES process, including POM, PR, SPP and related planning activities, (3) Assist in preparation of the CJB and related staffer briefings for PMA-290, (4) Prepare PMR material for PMA-290/PEO(A), (5) Prepare SOWs, CDRLs and contracts packages for the SPA program manager, (6) Ensure that all technical and operational requirements are met for the development, integration, and testing ofSPA across all competencies, (7) Coordinate SPA logistics initiatives to prevent duplication of effort and maximize economy of scale whenever possible, (8) Facilitate teamwork between the IPTs, NAVAIR competencies, DoD Organizations, fleet customers, and contractor organizations to implement the proper integration of all new hardware and software systems, (9) Develop, coordinate and implement logistics plans and procedures, requirements analysis, system definition and integration process activities, (10) Ensure requirements for projects are met through proper tasking and coordination of available professional/technical resources including negotiating required program support.
Qualifications
Required: Special Projects Aircraft experience, maintenance & operations, 10-15 years Navy operational experience, BS degree. TS/SCI Clearance
Desired: Experience with the ATS system for parts tracking
