Job Title: Logic/Circuit Design Engineer

Job Description: As a Logic/Circuit Engineer you work with a Product Design
team delivering computer server based products and
platforms. You will participate in the development process
to bring innovative new products to market delivering
market-leading solutions.
Your work will include printed circuit assembly development
including schematic design, circuit simulation,
prototyping, testing, characterization, system analysis,
and documentation. Close cooperation with internal
engineering teams from hardware and software,
manufacturing, and with various external partners is
required.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to
work and lead in a team environment. Previous knowledge
and experience with high performance electronic products
with emphasis in high efficiency power circuit design
beneficial. Candidate must also have demonstrated excellent
leadership, technical depth/breadth, planning,
organization, and judgment. Candidate will work with
reference design materials from major Micro processor
providers and will need to have an understanding of
interaction between BIOS/firmware and hardware design.
Contributes to the development of innovative
principles and ideas.
Works on extremely complex problems/problems and
provides highly innovative solutions. Routinely exercises
independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and
criteria for achieving objectives.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for specification, design, development,
schematics capture, component specification, layout check,
and testing of printed circuit assemblies, in addition to
modifying and enhancing existing designs.
Analyze, develop and recommend design approaches;
May evaluate current and future field
implementations and recommend design modifications or
enhancements to eliminate design roadblocks, or improve
product performance;
Develop and review documentation as assigned;
Working with related engineers to do placement,
layout, SI rules, PCA bills of material, and in lab
validation of logic circuits and PCAs.
Help Contract manufacturers and technical support
to solve product problems.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements: BSEE;
Minimum of 4+ years of experience on board level
design;
Wide knowledge of PCB layout, use of debugging
tools, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, I2C bus analyzer etc.;
Knowledge; assembly, C, VHDL or verilog languages;
Strong communication skills, including oral,
written, interpersonal.
Deeply familiar with Cadence CAD tools.
Knowledge of PCB manufacturing, PCB layout,
Materials, Signals Integrity and simulation software.
Experienced in high speed signals, high current
power and 16+ layers designs.
Self-motivated, team player with ability to work in
fast-paced environment
