Job Responsibilities:
General Summary: Interface with all XO Business Partners (Indirect channel agents) within the assigned metropolitan service area for purposes of providing face to face sales engagement support for any and all Business Partners with locally engaged sales in the assigned market. This position closes sales.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ï‚§ Designated resource for all Business Partner engagements within a General Manager assigned geographic footprint. ï‚§ Provides sales support to Business Partners for all new business that is not directed at existing assigned and restricted accounts. ï‚§ Drive increased revenues by assisting all Agents, sub Agents, and Branch Offices with business in the assigned metropolitan area sell XO voice and data applications via joint sales calls. (Having an experienced XO representative in the field and on Agent appointments will lead to shorter selling cycles increased closing ratios, higher revenues, and cleaner orders) ï‚§ Manage and advise engaged agents on effective solutions to current active business opportunities on new products/services, promotions as applicable. ï‚§ Responsible for insuring agent orders are processed timely and with accuracy ï‚§ Responsible for preparation of quotes and proposals with agents, requesting intervention by Sales Engineer on complex deals. ï‚§ Responsible for submission & tracking ICBs through approval. ï‚§ Responsible for insuring agent orders are submitted to OE Hub either directly via FastTrack or processed through the assigned ISM. ï‚§ Responsible for 100% monthly participation in quota attainment. ï‚§ Travel to Agents and End User Clients within assigned metropolitan area. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Strong organizational, sales, and relationship skills a must • Ability to excel in a deadline driven, revenue focused environment • Experience thriving in a matrix management organization • Able to balance and complete multiple tasks proficiently on deadline.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: • Education: College Degree or commensurate work experience • Relevant Work Experience: • 3-5 years of direct or indirect sales experience in the telecommunications business • 2-5 years of sales / technical application experience, including data sales
