Linguistic Analyst 3\4
Review and analyze complex foreign language source material for content and significance. Transcribe/translate advanced graphic and/or voice language material into modern American English or a targeted language in either verbatim or gisted format. Lead the detailed assessments of current events based on the collection, research and analysis of classified and open source information foreign language material. Provide quality control of transcripts and translations. Prepare and provide quality control of reports. Develop and implement translation methodology and quality control procedures and standards. Prepare and presents detailed and unique technical briefings. Share language didate will provide analytic support services to a proprietary customer, including language analysis support service. Duties will include transcription of a spoken language to English, conducting long term in depth analysis, drawing and supporting conclusions from analysis, preparing and submitting reports, preparing and conducting presentations as needed, review and quality check of other's work, and participating in analyst to analyst reviews, attending seminars or training. Languages included are: Spanish, Kazakh, Dari, Baluchi, Haitian/Creole.

Typical Education/Experience
Level 3 - Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Level 4 - Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Job related information
Position requires a minimum of an active TS/SCI with current SSBI and with CI polygraph. Applicants must include their security clearance level, investigation type and investigation date clearly on their resume. Candidates must include their level of expertise in their language, to include ILR didates will be tested to confirm their level of expertise.
