The Junior CISCO Call Manager Engineer's position primary focus will be implementing growth of new and existing systems as an expert on Voice over IP technology, primarily Cisco Call Managers systems. Provides expert technical assistance for VoIP growth of networks, System upgrades, and new equipment purchases. Secondary responsibility will be Wide Area Network O&M. Coordinates and works with the Government to provide implementation of new, existing, and future VoIP (to include Voice Over Secure Internet Protocol (VoSIP)) technology utilizing the current industry best practice implementation to include, but not limited to, Cisco Call Manager and Unified Communications systems. MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:
age and maintain the Tier 1 Cisco Call Managers, Gatekeepers and Gateway equipment, if applicable, on SIPR and NIPR networks.

itors and identifies capacity, quality and performance issues for VoIP traffic to ensure continued, uninterrupted operation of telephony systems.

laborate with network engineers or administrators to ensure that VoIP traffic does not interfere with or hinder network data traffic.
ntain and consolidate circuit level voice IP drawings according to USAREUR Standards.

forms analysis of maintenance failures, research trends and causes of failures, and recommend solutions to avert future failures.
vide assistance on new equipment purchases to replace existing equipment and/or for new connectivity projects. Equipment for purchase should comply with TNOSC approved network designs.
vide IA section with completed and accurate VoIP CAP Diagrams for assigned region. Required Experience: The following experience may be concurrent: Four (4) years working in a VoIP environment to include design, installation, and support. CCVP or CCNA Voice and Security+ are mandatory certifications. This position requires IT II. Completion of Security Briefing Certificate (DA Form 2543) is required. Must be able to obtain TESA status Clearance Level Required Secret Minimum Education Requirements BS/BA Degree or Equivalent Percent of Travel Required N/A Work Status Full-Time
