We have an immediate opening for a Software Engineer in our Site Engineering group. This position will be responsible for providing on-market software engineering support. This includes code analysis, software testing, software simulation, device driver design and software maintenance. The engineer will work closely with digital and analog electrical engineers on electromechanical infusion pump designs. Duties include static and dynamic program code analysis, hardware abstraction, device drivers, and system simulation. The job will also involve providing management with system-level recommendations, and participation in code reviews for development programs.
Skills/Experience Education/Certification: Required Experience: • BS CS • C or C++ development experience • 2-5 years experience as a SW Development Engineer • Excellent communication skills • Excellent documentation skills Preferred Experience: • Experience working on Audio/Video and Wireless products • Experience developing hardware validation • Experience in unit testing and build acceptance • Experience developing scripting interfaces • Experience programming hardware emulators/simulators • Experience with JTAG debugging • Communication protocol design
