Kelly IT Resources has an immediate need for a 6 month contract Sr. Developer - Cognos position located in Beaverton, OR for a local sportswear manufacturer.
As our Data Analyst, your primary responsibilities will be to design, develop, test and maintain reports for North America Demand & Inventory Planning. You will partner and collaborate with internal and external partners to define accurate requirements and will act as the technical lead on projects relating to report development. As our Data Analyst, you will develop reports using new and existing tools such as Access, Excel and Cognos. You will play a central role in collecting and disseminating requirements into a user-friendly output which provides value-added information to the organization. This role requires a balanced individual with the ability to translate business requirements into the most efficient and sustainable reporting solutions.
Additional Requirements:
Previous project experience and knowing how to capture business requirements as it pertains to reports and Business Intelligence.
Experience working with reporting tools such as Cognos, Brio, or Business Objects or equivalent.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in an environment with ambiguity.
High profile communication - able to speak to various levels of the business community in non-technical terms.
Design, build and implement new report formats and layouts on a customized and standardized basis for information users
Understand information requirements and reconcile these with system and database results

Partner with information users to identify opportunities for quick reporting solutions
