Candidate will manage resources, budget, and IT staff in the development and execution, and maintenance of complex varied IT to support expanding biomedical research program in a military environment. Candidate will provide weekly status reports to the Leadership team and PMO and participate in leadership team meetings. Candidate is expected to understand unique requirements of implementing IT processes and products in a military environment specializing in infectious disease and psychological health and manage a staff up to 15 people.
Requires BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
? 5+ years experience as a software developer, software engineer, system engineer or programmer ? 3+ years project management experience in any of the following areas: software development, system integration, system implementation and/or IT consulting working as federal government contractor ? Must have strong IT project management experience, preferably from a Federal PMO environment; Experience in software design, development or deployment. ? Strong project management, people management and client management/interaction skills ? Excellent organizational, communication (both oral and written), presentation and time management skills required ? Ability to multi task and manage multiple priorities ? Experience in a global environment preferred ? Willing and able to work in dynamic military environment
