Alliant Energy is currently recruiting for an engineering internship opportunity for Summer 2012. The position is part of the Wind and Renewables Engineering department and will be located at at our corporate office in Cedar Rapids, IA. We are looking for students pursuing a Bachelor-s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. This position will work with historical information to support reports and issues around performance of wind turbines. The intern will create documents to monitor performance of wind turbines, document performance issues, and trend data to assist with fleet wide turbine administration.
