Intern Industrial Security Specialist
The intern will learn basic functions of an Industrial Security Specialist. Functions will include access management, badging, classification management, classified visits and meetings, safeguarding classified information, and security clearances and international security. In addition, involvement with maintaining online status and tracking tools for key security transactions such as access rosters, special projects, access request processing activities, managing desktop policies, including standardized security policies and practices, and assisting security officers as needed. The intern will also receive instruction on basic computing security concepts. Work will be performed in the Washington DC area.
