Intern Environmental Engineer
Serves under supervision for a specified period within the occupation and skill area that directly relates to their college engineering degree. Summer Internship position is within the Enterprise Environmental group, as part of the Enterprise Environment, Health and Safety organization. Internship role is to improve records management related to the review and approval of hazardous waste treatment and storage facilities used by The Boeing Company by integrating data related to the review, scoring and data management into existing company wide data systems. Another deliverable will be to establish a risk management model for the oversight and disposal of The Boeing Company's non-hazardous waste. This will include an implementation plan on how to ensure adequate risk mitigation measures are in place. Intern will work directly with subject matter experts within the work group to accomplish defined deliverables.
Competencies Prefer proficiency with Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint. Database design knowledge a plus
Competencies Good interpersonal skill and able to work independently.
Basic Qualifications For Consideration
Are you currently enrolled at a college or university in an engineering program?
Typical Education/Experience High school diploma or GED.
