.:: Essential Job Duties: Provide expert skills and knowledge to deliver instruction in accordance with Government provided curriculum for IT Communications Technician course. Provide curriculum maintenance, including updates and changes for the course. Instruction includes basic intelligence training covering the following topics USCG missions & organization; the intelligence cycle; intelligence planning; intelligence briefing; OPSEC, COMSEC, the intelligence community, collection disciplines, document & equipment exploitation, legal implications, intelligence photography, difference between interviewing and interrogation, intelligence report writing and intelligence analysis. This is a contingency position with an anticipated start date on or about 1 Nov 2010.
.:: Mental/Physical Requirements: Excellent English written and oral communication skills required. Must be physically fit and able to work extended hours and weekends on occasion and as required. Ability to obtain a common access card (CAC). Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
.:: Education/Experience Requirements: Must have a minimum of 10 years experience as a USCG or USN SME in the Rating specialty required, or an equivalent MOS from another military Service, or equivalent experience and education in the civilian sector. Experience aboard a variety of floating and shore units is preferable. Must have a minimum of 1year experience as a primary classroom instructor providing training, preferably with a Certified Technical Trainer (CTT) certification or an equivalent MOS code. Must be proficient in using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and computer graphics programs.
