Analyst would be responsible for exploiting data from multiple government and commercial sources, specifically spectral imagery, but able to exploit and extrapolate with multi-spectral, IR, and/or SAR imagery, as well as conduct Geographic Information Systems (GIS) analysis. Fusion of AGI data using GIS analysis techniques to create second-phase spectral, spatial, and temporal products is an ongoing task. Applicant would be responsible for building information products both graphic and textual for dissemination to users. Some travel is required.
Education:
No degree is required with 7+ years experience in this field, but an acceptable technical Bachelor?s degree and 4 years of experience in areas relative to this effort is preferable.
Experience:
Prospective candidate must have a minimum of 7 years experience involving the use or analysis of imagery-derived intelligence. Three of those years must include imagery analysis; GIS experience also highly recommended. Experience with US Army intelligence processes and doctrine is desired; former military experience, preferably Army, as well as MASINT/AGI analysis experience is required. Familiarity with RemoteView, ArcGIS, ERDAS Imagine, or ENVI software (or comparable image processing and GIS software suites) is highly recommended.
Combination of any of the following: Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) AGI Analyst, Spectral Analyst, Unattended Ground Sensor (UGS) Analyst.
