Title: Inspector 3 Location: Arizona-Sierra Vista We are seeking a Quality Inspector who will perform inspection and evaluation of work performed on the Hunter Unmanned Air Vehicle System (UAVS) at the Unmanned System Sustainment Center Sierra Vista, Arizona. Will be required to use predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to inspect visually in-process and completed products such as electronic units and subsystems, precision electromechanical assemblies or mechanical units, subassemblies for structural flaws, internal or functional defects, and workmanship errors. Use various test and measuring devices to accepts, rejects, or determine rework defects or malfunctioning units or systems while working from and with blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Apply and maintain standards of quality operating methods, processes, systems and procedures Basic Qualifications: Proficient in aviation industry or military aviation inspection procedures using military or FAA standards. Knowledge of the Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS), FAA / Military maintenance practices, Airframe and Power plant certification, Inspection Authorization (IA) a plus. Having experience with wiring, soldering, electronics, avionics, and electrical systems highly desirable. Proficient in basic office computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Access along with good written and verbal communication skills a must
Education / Experience A High School diploma and 4 years additional experience or an AA Degree is desired. Experience in aviation related quality control, quality assurance or maintenance (military or FAA) or similar manufacturing will be considered.

Uses various measuring devices. Accepts, rejects, or reworks defective or malfunctioning units or systems. Works from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Performs line clearances after each lot to ensure all materials from the previous lot have been removed. Basic Qualifications: See Job Discription
