The Industrial Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for researching and investigating the design, functionality and maintenance of mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
.Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines and other mechanical devices .Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals to determine time and cost feasibility to complete projects .Assist drafters in developing the structural design of products using tools, equipment or software .Projection, evaluation, specification and acquisition of new or replacement assembly equipment; capital forecasting correlation and reporting as it relates to new product introduction, product efficiency improvements, machine replacement, and assembly improvement .Substituting material or combining similar parts to realize savings through material prices .Plan factory and office layouts for effective utilization of space due to rearrangement, new processes or expansion, determining the need for modern facilities
