Industrial Engineer
The Industrial Engineer is responsible for enthusiastically supporting and contributing to GEMA's World Class Manufacturing (WCM) Program by developing and implementing LEAN processes to improve manufacturing efficiency. In addition, this position will construct manpower requirements by utilizing studies and analysis of methods, equipment and work content. The Industrial Engineer will also establish competitive HPE productivity targets, track target attainment, provide HPE forecast and other reports. This position will utilize a total systems approach, lead / participate in initiatives to eliminate waste and standardize work processes to ensure HPE productivity targets are attained. Participate in GEMA's employee suggestion program.
Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• 5 - 8 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
• Some knowledge of current engine plant manufacturing processes and technology
• An understanding of industrial engineering processes and technology, methods engineering, ergonomics and quality practices
Preferred Qualifications: • Self-starter
• Ability to work with all levels of management
• Knowledge of WCM Pillars & Process is critical for success
• Work some weekends and travel
