Industrial Engineer Co-Op
Job Summary
The Co-op will utilize industrial engineering principles and analytical problem-solving skills, along with UPS methods training, to evaluate work area layouts and operating plans, with the intent to optimize efficiency, quality, comfort and safety.
Responsibilities include:
Data analysis
Investigative research
Conducting laboratory and/or field experiments
Desired skills include:
Knowledge of Industrial Engineering, Work Mearsurement and Human Factors principles via coursework or prior work experience
Effective statistical skills
Effective research and communication skills
Familiarity with MS Office Professional (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
Ability to conduct laboratory and/or field experiments
Education:
Must be currently enrolled in college
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be currently enrolled as a student at an accredited university or college
Must be an Engineering Major
Must not have any relatives currently employed at UPS
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
