Job Description :
Improve facility performance with the application of BPS/Lean Manufacturing principles to both existing and new production systems. Establish facility layouts, material handling systems, and time standards for manufacturing, assembly, and support operations. 1. Incorporate Lean Manufacturing principles/elements in all areas of facility. (Kanban, 5S, Value-Stream, Standardized Work, CIP, #etc.) 2. Define layouts of equipment, materials, and workspace to maximize production efficiency (AutoCAD). 3. Develop product cost structure (routings) on existing products as well as new product development projects. 4. Provide Training/coaching on Lean Principles at all levels of the organization
Job Requirements :
Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering or other Engineering Discipline plus 3-5 years related experience Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Systems. Working knowledge of problem solving, and improvement tools (FMEA, 5- Why, SPC, 8Ds, PDCA, etc.) Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks and also work together with other funtional area team members to achieve established objectives. Proficiency with desktop applications like Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.
