* Detection of all non-conformities before release to manufacturing or warehouse · Anticipation of quality issues through feed back to suppliers via Sourcing. · Management of non-conformances detected during incoming inspection . · Participation with the suppliers to the NC root causes analysis · Suggestion of corrective actions to avoid re-occurrence · Information to the Quality incoming leader in case of bad performance for improvement actions by supplier. · Support to the Supplier Quality Manager providing data about suppliers performance of the received materials and commodities . · Controls completeness of quality documents according to QWP · Validation of Supplier quality documentation · Preparation of the historic docket In coordination with CB, Expeditors, Operation Planning, etc. follow up suppliers for missing documentation
Responsibilities : · Perform at entrance within ALSTOM facilities inspections and test according to purchasing request and QWP , including quality records review, and issue the related inspections and test reports; · Review the inspections and tests reports against the QWP requirement as well as material certificates as per international standard or internal material sheet and add them to the history book as soon as inspections and tests are performed and approved; · Execute or organize mechanical test, chemical analysis and metallographic testing for the materials when required; · Detect at entrance all Non Conformities and record them into the NCR Database. Support the supplier/manufacturing / engineering for repair/rework etc. of the products to meet the quality requirements ; · Communicate the NCR to Incoming Inspection Coordinator; · Release the Inspection Lot in the Alstom system (SAP) for the Project Stock · Perform additional controls to those specified if he identifies a risk of non-conformity non detected by the specified controls and give feedback to Quality Engineering. · Record all control info in the quality receiving protocol and reports. ·Ensure Control completeness and validation of the requested Supplier quality documentationandprepare the historic docket Educational Requirements Mandatory: High school or Technical qualification based on required inspection methods Optional: Good knowledge of written and spoken English and Spanish Knowledge / Experience Mandatory : 1 year experience in quality control inspection Understanding/Reading technical information in drawings Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Optional: Control methods and tools, NDT certifications Hydro Products Applicable international and Hydro standards EHS Good understanding of manufacturing processes Job: QC Supply Chain
