Major Job Duties Include: - Resident Hardware Support Engineer at customer development site - Primary contact to customer for Engine Controller hardware issues, questions, applications, or deliveries - Support release of hardware into ECU manufacturing plant as well as vehicle production plant - Assist customer in vehicle integration, vehicle testing, and vehicle test trips - Support customer in system simulation, vehicle electrical system compatibility, problem resolution, vehicle development instrumentation problem resolution - Assist customer in Controller I/O related software assessments, system testing, and vehicle EMC testing - Interface to customer related to DV/PV/EMC testing results - Participate in specification reviews, team meetings, and technical support to customer's legal team
Minimum Job Requirements Include: - Bachelor degree in Engineering - 3-5 years experience in Automotive embedded controllers development - Good analytical skills with systematic approach to problem resolutions - Familiarity with hardware testing and debugging tools - Good communication skills to discuss issues/resolutions with global development team and external customer - Hardware analysis and troubleshooting skills required
Preferred: -Bachelor degree in Automotive, Electrical, or Computer Engineering preferred -Ability to read electronic schematics and vehicle electrical circuit diagrams
