Major Job Duties Include: Inquisitive, bright engineer that the senior Bosch development team can train to work with the most advanced automotive braking systems in the world. Our long-term goal for this position is to develop an engineer to the point where he/she is able to develop the electronic hardware for Bosch chassis control units. Hardware development for ABS / ESP electronic components includes circuit development, design verification, and compilation of technical manufacturing documentation. ' Assist with technical customer discussions and presentations regarding ECU hardware development. ' Work with senior development team to interpret technical specifications and create test plans to guarantee that the ECU meets the agreed upon specification. ' Support Senior engineers in preparing quote responses (development cost and product cost estimations) ' Design circuits to meet the project specification, perform worst case calculations and simulations to verify design concept, and prepare thorough documentation of development investigations. ' Support EMC and environmental testing for new designs and actively investigate improvements to gain a more robust design. ' Create sample and production documentation to build and test the electronic control unit. ' Manage the overall component project (technical) from quoting through production and beyond. ' Work with a project team to ensure that milestones are met and customer receives a safe and reliable product.
Minimum Job Requirements: ' BSEE or equivalent (MSEE preferred) ' 0 - 5 experience (automotive preferred) ' Familiarity with worst-case circuit design/calculations practices ' Familiarity with circuit simulation ' Familiarity with analog filtering techniques ' Flexible to assist with other tasks as assigned ' Off hours maybe necessary due to global communication meetings ' Solid technical writing and communication skills ' Familiarity with FMEA practices preferred ' Familiarity with DRBFM process preferred ' Familiarity with FMEDA practices preferred ' Team player - works well in team environment ' Attention to detail
