We are currently looking for an exceptional and extremely experienced designer to fill the position of [creative senior graphic designer]. This position is for a highly qualified, passionate designer only especially one who loves a creative challenge. We need a talented and energetic individual with the ability to take pencil sketches and create top-level designs. Must be flexible with scheduling and have the ability to complete assignments under tight deadlines. A MUST- creative conceptualization, development, layout, design and production of: advertising collateral, logos, direct mail pieces, brochures, newsletters, catalogs, print ads, POP, trade show booth graphics and booth design, technical publications, packaging and web site content. [ responsibilities & qualifications ] Design & create logos, corporate identities, brochures, print advertisements, collateral, direct mail, POP displays, websites, advertising and brand identity pieces. Self-motivated, able to work independently, yet willing to take direction. Solid knowledge of layout, design, and color theory/usage Strong knowledge of graphic design, typography, color interaction, design appropriateness for a given target audience, all other facets of print, electronic and web design. Strong understanding of Print production and process on various mediums. Thoroughly proficient in Adobe CS3 CS4 and preparing prepress files The ability to handle, manage and prioritize multiple projects and to adjust to inevitable changes in timelines, deadlines, and project goals Candidate must work well under tight deadlines and have a flexible, positive attitude Ensure that projects are functional, graphically exciting while managing multiple priorities to meet varying deadlines and invent creative solutions within those timeframes. Ability of working in a fast paced environment with pending deadlines; willingness to work long hours (often with short notice) in order to meet such deadlines. Able to translate client business requirements, user needs, and technical capabilities into designs that are visually exciting, easy to use, and emotionally engaging. Team player and Creative problem solvier Excellent presentation skills for effective client facing interaction Firm attention to detail and follow-through skills. Flexibility in adapting quickly to shifting projects. Knowledge of video/motion graphics including Final Cut Pro and After Effects preferred Basic familiarity with web development technologies such as content management systems, XML, CSS and Javascript preferred Knowledge of web design software Dreamweaver, Flash, 3D and HTML is a plus, as well as, experience with additional graphic animation software.
