Job Description
This position leads the Global SAP Development and Systems Integration (SAP XI/TIBCO) team in providing ABAP development support for Ecolab’s SAP systems as well as Systems Integration support for SAP (XI) and non-SAP systems (TIBCO) related projects. This position provides overall leadership, performance management and talent development for the Development and System Integration team.
This position will require resource and project management experience as well as driving strategy and policy development within the team to effectively operate globally. This position is responsible for following quality assurance policies and procedures.
This position reports to Director, NA SAP Solution Center.
Main Responsibilities:

Manages a team of software engineers (SAP ABAP, CRM Middleware, SAP XI and TIBCO)

*
Acts as the Resource Manager between the Application Development team and other IT teams

*
Guides staff development to provide technical leadership in designing, developing, documenting, testing, training, and implementing applications

*
Effectively coaches and mentors team’s development by providing regular feedback, handling employee relations matters, conducting performance reviews, motivating and retaining the team as well as managing staffing needs and resources

*
Effectively manage and prioritize global workload, including management of project deliverables

*
Support the development of frameworks, best practices and methodologies to be followed across the organization to enhance the consistency, quality and cost effective delivery of software for ABAP, XI and TIBCO

Basic Qualifications:

*
10+ years IT experience

*
5+ years management or leadership experience

*
5+ years project management experience

*
3+ years experience designing and developing applications using SAP ABAP or C#, C++,

*
Experience working in a Matrix organization

Preferred Qualifications:

*
Bachelor’s degree

*
Experience architecting SAP technology solutions

*
Strong problem solving skills

*
Ability to document, report on, and review required project artifacts (high level design documents, functional specifications, code review)

*
Must be able to perform as an effective member in a team-oriented environment, maintain a positive attitude, and achieve desired results while working with minimal supervision

*
Proficiency with MS Office suite

*
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships

*
Strong analytical and assessment skills
