FSR QA
Defines and monitors mission assurance program specifications and processes to ensure mission success of programs. Performs or assures quality, risk management, safety, reliability and maintainability of program achievements,
subcontractors, and suppliers in accordance with contractual requirements. Assesses program performance and risks, and determines resources to ensure mission assurance. Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality evaluation and control systems and processes for Long Endurance Multi-Int Vehicle (LEMV) program. Perform Quality Assurance audits, and manufacturing systems for deficiency identification and correction. Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements. Maintain liaison with customer program office, production, engineering, material management, suppliers, and squadron personnel to resolve quality issues. Implements and maintains processes and procedures with regards to safety, training, and Government Flight Representative (GFR) requirements in accordance with applicable company policies and customer instructions.
Extensive travel in early stages of program development and Deployment to military theater of operations required.
Must be able to acquire and maintain a corporate travel card.
Job requires physical stamina and ability/willingness to work in confined spaces and at heights exceeding 25 feet while waring safety harness. FAA Class II Medical Certificate required; must be able to medically pass CRC prior to deployment.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in an appropriate technical discipline and two (2) years of relevant experience. OR; equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Airframe and Powerplant background a plus.
Experience in the Lighter Than Air (LTA) industry a plus.
