Works on site with GSA Finance, at Fort Worth, Texas, as a Systems Analyst. Provide programming and analyst support of financial applications and associated software packages, that include but not limited to FoxPro DOS, Visual FoxPro, MS Visual Basic, .NET, , C#, Oracle, and SQL Server. Perform analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation and maintenance of the various LAN and Web based applications used by GSA. Develop new or migrate applications into the latest version of software. Primary responsibilities will include analysis and research, writing queries and documentation, project planning and determining scope and objectives in order to determine how to best update, modify, or design applications, reports, and procedures. Candidate will also be involved in project scheduling, application testing, risk management, and quality assurance to support contract requirements.
1. Bachelors Degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience. 2. Two or more years hands-on experience in the computer programming field. 3. Microsoft or other certifications (MSCE +I, MSCD, IIS or equivalent) a plus; but may not required. 4. Demonstrated experience with FoxPro, .NET, , C#, Visual Basic, compliance with Section 508 guidelines. 5. Experience/track record indicating desire to excel and provide quality leadership and guidance.
2-5 years of directly related computer systems analysis and/or programming experience.
Strong communication and analyst skills. Knowledge of principles, methods, and techniques used in full Life Cycle Management. Application support will include but not limited to, FoxPro, .NET, and Visual Basic programming. Strong documentation of both functional and technical requirements. Experience developing test plans, test scripts, technical testing, end user testing, and test reporting. Identifies client needs and requirements based on evaluation of client documentation and interviews.
