Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Must have a PE in Fire Protection Engineering (FPE), qualifications to pass the NCEES Fire Protection PE examination within 1 year of hire, or a PE in another engineering discipline with at least eight (8) years of demonstrated experience in the field of fire protection engineering.
Minimum of 4 years experience with the preparation of engineering drawings and specifications for fire suppression, fire alarm and egress systems.
Familiarity with application of ICC, NFPA codes, and Federal Government Standards.
Experience with AutoCAD and hydraulic calculation software.
