Rebate Analyst (Position Level 5-8 depending on experience)



Job Description:

This position will handle all accounting responsibilities related to

customer rebates, as well as some month-end general ledger

responsibilities for domestic businesses. The candidate will work

closely with the business providing all required reporting and analysis

on customer rebates. The responsibilities of this position include:

. Setting up and maintaining customer rebates accruals and ensuring

they are accurate and timely.

. Calculating multiple rebate payments and preparing payment

requests on a monthly basis.

. Reconciling the rebate accrual accounts monthly and working with

the business to determine adjustments accordingly.

. Performing various reporting and analysis related to customer

rebates as requested by the Sales or Finance Group.

. Posting various expense allocation and other journal entries to

the businesses' division ledgers at month-end.

. Assisting with process improvement projects related to the

centralized rebate accounting process.



Requirements include:

- Bachelor degree or MBA in Accounting or Finance; 2 - 6 years of

accounting experience preferred

- Proficient Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, v-

lookup, and macros

- SAP experience preferred
