Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for an Oracle DBA on a contract opportunity with a leading company in the robotics industry.

Our client has earned an impeccable reputation as a supplier of advanced robotic intervention products, primarily for the subsea oil and gas industry. Under consistent leadership for over 25 years and a never-ending passion for the pursuit of excellence, they have established a worldwide market supplying intervention systems to virtually every operator of subsea remotely operated vehicles (ROVs).


The Final Assembly Technician is involved in complex mechanical and electronic assembly work, as well as prototyping as needed. Tasks require a highly level of skill with a variety of hand tools, precision measuring equipment and machinery.


Essential Job Functions:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required. Perform highly complex electrical and elctro-mechanical assembly.
Must be able to work from complex schematics, assembly blueprints, and/or verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.
Prepare recommendations for improvements in methods or processes for improved productivity and quality.
Interface with Design Engineers during prototype builds.


Minimum Requirements:

Two (2) or more years of electrical assembly experience.
Fiber Optics experience required.
Strong working knowledge of hand and power tools.
The ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
Must be able to work overtime and weekends.
Soldering Skills


Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and arms to perform repetitive motions; to sit, talk and/or hear.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs as required.
Standing or sitting for extended periods of time.
Required to work on concrete floors, wearing steel toed shoes and safety goggles, up to 10-12 hours a day.
