Our Field Service Engineering (FSE) team is looking for a results-oriented individual with effective technical and communication skills who can work well on a field assignment performing duties at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City, FL as well as our Panama City, FL. facility. Assignment responsibilities include providing guidance and assistance in the installation, checkout, repair, modification, consultation and training on highly specialized electronic equipment and related complex support equipment.

You will have the opportunity to troubleshoot and correct malfunctions using specialized test and diagnostic equipment. As well as performing more complex tasks such as circuit analyses, calculating wave forms, tracing relationships in signal flow and using complex test instruments. You may provide operation/maintenance instruction to customer personnel. Advise and assist and perform the implementation of preventive maintenance programs and keep performance and maintenance records on equipment as well as participate in the installation planning phase.


You will also apply technical knowledge of electrical/electronic/mechanical principles in order to put equipment in operational condition and solve moderately complex problems Provide advice and consultation to personnel and management in areas of specialization; organize and perform special assignments requiring a high degree of technical and scientific capabilities; perform duties where the possibility of substantial and serious impact on projects through errors that can be prevented only by a sustained high degree of care and attention.
Required Experience: * Associate's Degree plus technical training equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or military/work experience.
* Requires 6-10 years of related experience installing, maintaining, fabricating, and servicing electrical/electronic/mechanical equipment for U.S. Government.
* A working knowledge of electrical/electronic/mechanical discipline, tools and test equipment is required.
* Frequent travel is required (50-70%)
* Good verbal and written communication skills are essential.
* Successful candidate will have completed a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
* Must be a U.S. citizen.
