We are looking for a Manager, Field Applications Engineer (FAE) to provide technical support to assigned accounts. Common EssentialDuties & Resp. - Enable global business by providing technical support for all memory and other Samsung product solutions to the customer(s). - Provide general guidelines for all memory and other Samsung products to the customer(s) to enable and support design-in/design-wins as well as sustain existing production of projects using Samsung memory. - Identify all design-in opportunities and provide the best solutions for the customer(s) including technology, specific memory type, cost competitiveness, market demand/sector, lifecycle, global qualification activities, and technical data in order to secure maximum number of design-wins. - Visit and interact directly with the customer(s) to maintain customer product roadmap updates. - Track and report project details. This includes design-in and qualification plans as well as the competitive analysis of the roadmap, process technology and qualification status. - Train all field sales resources on product roadmap and offerings, key focus products, how to target memory design-wins, provide sales enabling tools, regular updates for roadmap/product changes, die-revs, to enable design-wins & memory sales. Background /Experience - BSEE or equivalent experience required. - 3+ years of Semiconductor experience in Design, Product/Process Engineering or Applications/Systems Engineering required. - MS or PhD preferred. - Experience in Flash Memory preferred. Necessary Skills /Attributes -Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. - Ability to comprehend and apply principals of advanced calculus, modern algebra, and advanced statistical theory. - Ability to think strategically versus tactically. - Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to change and/or be flexible as business situation arise. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Is comfortable in preparing presentation and speaking in public. - Is comfortable working in a multinational environment and understands how to leverage cultural diversity.
