Facilities Engineering Specialist
The Facilities Engineering Specialist is responsible for providing engineering support for problem resolution and enhancements for electrical/mechanical controls on the building systems at the Chrysler Technology Center. Lead the ""control systems"" preventive maintenance program. Develop corrective maintenance work packages for skilled trades to repair building control systems. Provide technical support for skilled trades. Order material and equipment required to implement corrective and preventive maintenance work. Work with scheduler to project skilled trades manpower and work load. Assist in improving workforce efficiencies, cost effectiveness and customer satisfaction. Review and enhance preventive maintenance procedures on ""control system"" assets.
Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required, preferably electrical
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• 10 years' experience in building systems design and maintenance
• Customer service focused and able to work well with others
Preferred Qualifications: • World Class Manufacturing (WCM) training
• Familiarity with equipment preventive and proactive maintenance concepts
